Layers of the Earth

This week in science we will begin our study of the earth by taking a look at its layers. We will be discussing the earth's crust, mantle, lithosphere, asthenosphere, and core. We will also be discussing the important role that convection currents play in the transfer of heat energy by the movement of matter.
